Matteo De Cola

Biography

Matteo De Cola is an Italian-Canadian actor. Born in Rome, he had the good fortune of being exposed to multiple cultures at a young age through constant travel. His love of acting was established in his native Italy, where he was constantly observing the many “stock” characters present in small town life. Constantly imitating and recreating his observations, this quality remained with him. Having also lived in Toronto, Canada, he decided to take the full-commitment plunge into the wonderful world of acting. Matteo spent his formative years at The Second City, and curated his studies at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in the heart of New York City. Matteo’s work can be seen worldwide in: Film, television, and commercials. The challenging year of 2020 brought with it a pleasant surprise- his professional television debut.
