Dr. Angie Phipps

Biography

Dr. Angela Phipps, D.O., is a hair restoration surgeon located in Raleigh, NC, and is featured on the TLC show Bad Hair Day, where she works her magic to help patients with a wide variety of hair loss ailments. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marshall University, Huntington, WV in 1994 followed by her D.O. from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. She completed her ENT/Facial Plastic Surgery internship/residency at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington Hills, MI in 2002, followed by a Family Medicine residency at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, FL through 2004, and then a fellowship in hair restoration surgery at Ziering Medical, Beverly Hills, CA in 2005. Dr. Phipps joined Bosley (Raleigh , NC) in 2009 after 3 years of hair restoration practice in Beverly Hills, CA, and Las Vegas, NV.
